One of the goals in the DePA project was to improve the knowledge of additives influence on heat stability, fracture and ageing at polymers. Several results from this project have been published in national and international conferences and journals.

Recently the paper «Micro Calorimetric Measurements of Stabilized and Unstabilized Polypropylene Under Wet and Dry Conditions» was published by Knut Brede Liland, SINTEF Energy Research, Sverre Hvidsten, SINTEF Energy Research and Harry Øysæd, Norner, was published online (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/adv.21414/abstract) and accepted to be published in Advances in Polymer Technology, Volume 33, Issue 3 (Autumn 2014).

  • Norner was a major research contributor in the DePA project (Demanding Polyolefin Applications) 2007 – 2012.
  • The project was funded by the Norwegian Research Council and sponsored by Borealis with the following participants; Bredero Shaw Norway AS, Nexans Norway AS, NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology), University of Oslo, SINTEF Energy, SINTEF Materials and Chemistry and Norner AS.
