Norner holds leading competence in plastic additives which includes a versatile centre for additive performance testing with sophisticated laboratory equipment.
- The additive performance test centre carries out tests based on UV exposure, oven ageing and artificial weathering.
- In this way we investigate how plastic degradation is influenced by sunlight, humidity and temperature.
Our customer projects includes:
- Investigate the durability and life time expectations of plastic materials by accelerated life cycle testing
- Simulation of damaging environmental effects of long term outdoor exposure by exposing test samples to varying conditions of aggressive combinations of weathering, light, moisture and temperature
- Material tests of exposed samples according to standard procedures in order to evaluate change in mechanical properties, additive stabilisation morphological changes etc
- Life time estimation of materials and products based on results from accelerated tests
